Issue Details

I am measuring an analog input waveform using the AI pins on the myRIO and observing a waveform with its negative halves clipped against the expected wave which swings on both sides of the axis. I have tried running the myRIO dashboard example code and observed similar behavior.

Solution

The MXP A and B connectors on the myRIO can only sense voltages in the 0 to 5 V range as mentioned on page 5 of the myRIO specification sheet.
To measure negative voltages on the myRIO, the MSP C connector's AI pins should be used. These pins have a range of -10 to +10 V and can measure negative voltages as mentioned on page 6 of the myRIO specifications sheet.
