Where Do I Get SCL Files for Programming My IEC 61850 Application to CompactRIO?

Issue Details

I would like to program IEC 61850 to my CompactRIO controller and found out that I would need substation configuration description language (SCL) file. Where do I get one?

Solution

You can create the SCL file manually by referring to the IEC61850_example.icd in the labview\example\IEC61850\Server folder for a template to create SCL files manually. You can also create SCL files by using a third-party modelling tools.
