Issue Details

I am trying to use the Automotive Diagnostic Command Set with LabVIEW and am missing one or more .dll files. A message is popping up asking me to 'Find the Shared Library Named,' followed by a .dll.

Solution

To fix the issue with missing .dlls from the Automotive Diagnostic Command Set, you will need to reinstall that toolkit.

First, you will want to uninstall the toolkit using the National Instruments uninstaller under Add or Remove Programs.

Next, download the latest version of the Automotive Diagnostic Command Set and install that on your PC.
Also, look up the Readme for the latest version to make sure it is compatible with your version of both Windows and LabVIEW. The Readme can be found on the download page for the Automotive Diagnostic Command Set.

Now, try to use your code again and your .dll problem should be resolved.
