Issue Details

I am using the PXIe-4300 in my NI VeriStand application. I can only see 8 channels available to use, which makes sense since this device supports 8 differential analog inputs. However, I want to use this device in a single-ended terminal configuration. Can I do this?

Solution

The PXIe-4300 only supports a differential terminal configuration, and cannot be used in referenced single-ended or nonreferenced single-ended terminal configurations in any DAQmx application.

Additional Information

Using NI DAQ Hardware Modules in VeriStand will automatically show what is supported for the DAQ device. In NI MAX, you can create a task and configure the terminal configuration, but you will see that every configuration option expect for Differential is grayed out.
