Installation Summary: No Software Will Be Installed When Upgrading Software

Issue Details

I am trying to upgrade my software. I run through the normal procedure that I always do to upgrade software and when I get to the end I receive the following message:

Installation Summary: No software will be installed or removed

Solution

This message will appear when the software is already installed on the computer.

To check what NI software that is currently installed follow the instructions here:
Determine the Version of the NI Software Installed on My Computer

Additional Information

You can also use NI License Manager (NILM) to view licensed software installed on your system, but it does not include some things like drivers.

If you try reinstall an NI software or driver and get interrupted by this window, you can instead perform a force reinstall.
