Issue Details

I just downloaded some software that is distributed in the form of an ISO file. What is this file type and how do I use it?

An ISO file is an image of a complete CD or DVD. It can either be installed on the machine it was downloaded on, or it can be written to disc for installation on other systems. National Instruments distributes some software on the web in this form, but these files are not specific to NI. See the resources below for information on using ISO files with different operation systems.
