Failed to Connect Error When Connecting or Deploying to ELVIS III in LabVIEW

Issue Details

  • I cannot connect to my ELVIS III from LabVIEW
  • I get "failed to connect to the target" error

Solution

This issue can occur when the ELVIS is not at the expected IP Address. Check that the IP address is correct in LabVIEW:
  • Right Click the ELVIS III target and select Properties. Under the General category, you can view and change the IP address to match the one on the ELVIS III OLED screen.
  • Right-click the ELVIS III target in LabVIEW and select Connect (the green light indicates the connection was successful).
