How to Uninstall TDMS Excel Add-In

I need to re-install TDM Excel Add-In. How can I uninstall TDM Excel Add-In?

When tried to manually uninstall it through the NI Package Manager, I was not able to find TDM Excel Add-In listed in the installed list. 
 

Solution

Method 1 (recommended): 

You can uninstall the TDM Excel Add-in through package manager if you follow the next steps: 

1. Launch the NI Package Manager
2. Click on Installed tab 
3. Deselect the Products only option, this will populate more items on the list 
4. Search for the TDM  keyword using the search bar on the top right, the TDM Excel Add-In will show up as below: 
5. Check the checkbox and click on remove 
6. Please keep in mind that this might uninstall additional dependencies along with the add-in, and you'll have to provide permissions.  

Method 2: 

You can also remove the add-in directly from Microsoft Excel.  But please keep in mind that this will jeopardize future installations of the add-in, causing it not to show up in Excel anymore. Do this only if you are sure you will not need the add-in anymore in the future and method 1 does not work. 

You can also uninstall TDM Excel Add-In by following the steps below.

1. In Excel, click File>>Options. In the Excel Options pane, select Add-Ins
2. Select National Instruments TDM Importer for MS Excel in the Name tab and select COM Add-ins in Manage drop-down list. 
3. Now you can click Go... as shown below.

4.  In the COM Add-ins pane, select National Instruments TDM Importer for MS Excel and click Remove.
