Issue Details

I have the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module and I want to use its shared variable functionality on my CompactRIO. How do I install DSC Module support to my cRIO?

Solution

There is no single DSC Module installation item that shows up in the list of software you can install to your cRIO. Rather, you can install the individual components that you need. For example, the following software components are part of the DSC Module functionality that you might want to install:
  • Modbus I/O Server
  • Network Variable Engine
  • Variable Client Support for LabVIEW RT
  • EPICS Client I/O Server
  • EPICS Server I/O Server
