Is it possible to use NI 9253 module without supplying power directly from the module to the transducer?

Solution

Yes, you can use the NI-9253 without a power supply input but you will need to ensure external power is provided to your current loop sensors.

 

 

Additional Information

The NI-9253 includes a power supply input, which allows the module to power your external sensors directly from the NI-9253. The Vsup  connection creates a power supply rail that is connected to the Vsup terminals for all your channels, making wiring much easier.
