Where can I find and edit the list of most recently used files in the sequence editor?

Solution

  • If TestStand is open, please proceed to close the software first.
  • Direct to Users\<username>\AppData\Local\National Instruments\TestStand <Version> directory and open the SeqEdit.xml file. Please note that AppData folder is a hidden folder .
  • Open the file using a text editor, in example: Notepad or Notepad ++ to open the file and look for the MRU phrase (MostRecentlyUsed) and edit the following: .
  • Delete the <value arrayindex ='[0]'>C:\ <directory> lines.
  • Change the ubound='[7]' to ubound='[0]'.
  • Save the file, close the text editor and open TestStand.
