Issue Details

I want to add a KUNBUS ECAT Slave cRIO Module to my 904x and 905x target and the discovery fails with the following error:

This C Series module is not supported by the installed versions of LabVIEW and NI CompactRIO Module Support.

Solution

Due to an error in the new Module Development Kit for the 904x and 905x cRIO series, an autodetection is currently not possible.

To use the module, please add the module manually without the autodetection feature:

1. Right-click on your FPGA Target >> New >> C Series Modules...



2.Choose New target or device >> C Series Module >> Ok



3. Choose cRIO ECAT S of the Type drop down menu and choose the right slot in your cRIO chassis.



After the module is added manually to the correct slot, you can use the module as usual.

Additional Information

Same behavior can be seen in similar KUNBUS GmbH  modules as the cRIO-PB-MS.
