VeriStand Target System Error 1556 on Start Up Console

Issue Details

My Verstand Real-Time Target boots with following error.

System error encountered.

Error Code: 1556
Error Message: LabVIEW: (Hex 0x614 The reference is invalid. This error might occur because the reference has been deleted.

What do I need to do to fix this error?

Solution

Error 1556 shows up on the console for a Real-Time target running VeriStand during system boot up if there is not a system definition file deployed.  The error can be safely ignored and will go away when a system definition file is deployed onto the VeriStand target.
