Issue Details

I want to communicate between a Windows 10 system and a Linux system running CentOS using UDP. When I test the communication with the Windows 10 system as the sender and CentOS system as the receiver, no messages are received.

Solution

This problem is due to the firewall settings of the CentOS machine. You can run the following command on the machine to allow for UDP communication:

firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=61557/udp

The default port used in the Simple UDP.lvproj example is 61557, but you can change this to the port you specify for UDP communication.
