Logging: Not licensed or cannot be edited outside of LabVIEW

Issue Details

I am using Distributed Systems manager and trying to edit one of the variables. I get an error box that pops up with the message "Logging: Not licensed or cannot be edited outside of LabVIEW". What can I do to get rid of this error?

Solution

Make sure you have installed and activated either the:
  • Datalogging and Supervisory Control(DSC) Module
  • DSC Module Run-Time System
