Issue Details

I am developing a LabVIEW RT application, and I am getting an error that says:

XControl: XControl not supported for current target.

Why am I getting that error, and what can I do to resolve it?

Solution

This error occurs when attempting to use an XControl in LabVIEW RT because XControls are not supported on LabVIEW RT targets.

To resolve this, you have the following options:

Use a different type of control. If it is possible to display the same data using a normal LabVIEW control, you can replace the XControl and run your application without it.
Create a host VI that uses the XControl to display the data instead.
