Which PXI ethernet modules are supported by a Real-Time OS?
 

Solution

The PXI-8231 (Gigabit Ethernet Interface), PXI-8232 (Combination GPIB Controller and Gigabit Ethernet Port), NI 8234 (Dual Gigabit Ethernet Interface), and PXIe-8234 (Gigabit Ethernet Interface) are all supported on Phar Lap ETS OS.

The PXIe-8238, PXIe-8240, and PXIe-8245 are supported on NI Linux Real-Time OS.
 

Additional Information

Using these modules with NI Linux Real-Time OS may have a specific version of the OS as a pre-requisite. Use the NI Hardware and Operating System Compatibility website to see what operating system versions support your device.
