Reading TDMS Files on Mac OS

Issue Details

I have some TDMS files I need to read from my computer running Mac OS. I know windows has some tools that allow to do just that on excel. 
Is there any tool that does the same for Mac OS?

Solution

The Excel plugin for TDMS is only supported for Windows operating systems. If you need to read TDMS files in Mac OS you could try one of the following options:
  • If you have LabVIEW for Mac OS, the file I/O palette has a set of TDMS specific VIs that will allow you to read and write data from the files. 

    Note: LabVIEW 2023 Q3 is the final release of LabVIEW for macOS. Starting with releases in 2024, LabVIEW is available on Windows and Linux OSes.

  • You could open the TDMS files from a computer running Window and save the data on a compatible format.
