VirtualBench MSO Read VI Freezes If Cable is Disconnected

Issue Details

I’m currently developing a LabVIEW code that involves VirtualBench 8012 device. I'm using the Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO) VIs to read from my device. 
Everything is working fine, but if the cable is disconnected, the application freezes in the function MSO Read VI.
Assuming the cable is disconnected, how to continue the application without waiting for the  MSO Read VI?
 

Solution

In order to get out of the function MSO Read VI without waiting for the trigger, you can enable the Auto Trigger on the function MSO Run VI by connecting a TRUE constant.
Auto Trigger specifies whether to automatically trigger the MSO if the configured trigger condition is not met within the timeout period. The timeout period is the trigger delay plus the greater of pretrigger time * 2, or 0.5 seconds.
