I recently purchased USRP-2974. Unlike traditional USRPs, I heard USRP-2974 can run as an embedded system. Which OS is installed inside the USRP-2974?

Solution

By default, NI Linux RT is installed on USRP-2974. NI Linux RT is a Linux-based RTOS developed by NI over many years. This OS combines the usability of Linux and the determinism important factor for Real-Time OS.
