Activating Report Generation Toolkit

Issue Details

LabVIEW tells me the Report Generation Toolkit is not installed or activated. I have LabVIEW Professional Development System which should include this toolkit. How do I activate it?

Solution

First, use NI License Manager to see if the Report Generation Toolkit is installed.
  1. Open NI License Manager
  2. Click on the relevant version of LabVIEW in the Product Summary page
  3. Expand Add-ons
  4. Look for Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office
If present, follow these activation instructions with your serial number.

If missing, download the newest version from the NI website and activate with your serial number.

Additional Information

Please note that the Report Generation Toolkit is only included with LabVIEW Professional and not with LabVIEW Base or Full. If you are using a Volume License Server to activate the software please make sure that the license includes the Professional Edition of LabVIEW.
