Missing Calculate Frames per Second VI in LabVIEW Vision Palette

Issue Details

I can not find the Calculate Frames per Second.vi sub-VI in any of the palettes. I see it used in a few of the LabVIEW Vision Acquisition examples. Where does this VI come from? Is there an add-on or something I'm missing?

Solution

The Calculate Frames per Second VI is installed in <LabVIEW XXXX>\vi.lib\vision\ when NI Vision Acquisition Software is installed.  However, it is not added to the Functions Palette in LabVIEW, because it is not vision specific.

If you find Calculate Frames per Second.vi useful and want to have it readily available in your Functions Palette, you can add the VI to your Functions Palette yourself.  The location of Calculate Frames per Second.vi is in <LabVIEW>\vi.lib\vision\Calculate Frames per Second.vi
