Issue Details

When I try to build an executable using the LabVIEW Application Builder, I get the following error:
Error 1380 occurred at Invoke Node in AB_Engine_Build_Method_Wrapper.vi
Why is the Application Builder disabled or not working?

Solution

Make sure the Application Builder is correctly Licensed in NI License Manager (NILM).
If you are having issues finding your serial number, see: Finding the Serial Number or System Tag of My NI Product

If you have access to licenses through a Volume License Agreement (VLA) contact your Software Administrator (NI VLM Server Administrator) for assistance. Your administrator can create a home or disconnected license file.

Restart the computer after reactivating the Application Builder to ensure it is properly licensed.

Additional Information

The temporary license is not intended to support functional applications for a long period.  NI never recommends building permanent or long-term applications using a temporary license.

If the computer you are trying to activate the software on a computer that does not have internet access, you can use your serial number to generate an activation code from another computer that is connected to the internet.
This can be done by using the NI Product Activation page. You will need the computer Id of the computer you want the software to be activated on. For help finding this, see: Finding My Unique NI Computer ID for Activation and Licensing.
