NI Max Failed to Load Mxrmcfg.dll

Issue Details

I'm unable to launch NI-MAX 17.0. When NI-MAX tries to open I get an error that says mxrmcfg.dll failed to load, I have had tried resetting the NI-MAX Database and also had tried a force reinstall of NI-MAX  and I still have the same error.

Solution

Follow the next steps to resolve the missing dll.

  1.  Download the NI-DAQmx 17.1.1  Driver in your computer.
  2.  Uninstall NI-DAQmx 17.0 from your computer using the Uninstall option on Windows Control Panel.
  3.  Install NI-DAQmx 17.1.1.
  4.  Restart your computer.
  5.  Open NI-MAX.
