Additional Information
The function generator has three terminals: positive output, negative output, and a middle reference terminal. The negative output terminal generates the opposite polarity to the positive output pin; therefore, if you connect the circuit ground to the negative output, you will get a signal with an amplitude two times larger than what you set. Instead, you should connect your circuit ground reference to the middle reference terminal of the Function Generator.
