Internal Errors 1722 and 2329 During Driver Installation

Issue Details

While installing NI Software, like LabVIEW or TestStand, I receive error 1722. What could be causing this?

While installing the DAQmx Driver CD,  I get internal errors during installation of NI-DAQmx Expert Framework and NI-DAQmx, and I also get error 2329 during installation of NI-VISA and NI-RPC. What could be causing this?


An active virus scanning utility can cause either of these errors to occur during installation of the DAQmx Driver CD or other NI software like LabVIEW. To prevent this from happening, you should disable the active virus scanning utility during the installation of the drivers.  Once your drivers or software are installed, you should be able to enable your virus scanning utilities again.
