Text files containing error codes specific to NI software can be found in the following locations:
- For drivers and development packages, navigate to:
National Instruments\Shared\Errors
- For Modular Instrument drivers, such as NI-SCOPE and NI-DMM, multiple language versions can be found in driver-specific folders located in:
National Instruments\Shared\MIerrors
The driver-specific text files contain error codes arranged in order, and thus you can get the ranges for each driver.
