Issue Details

I am getting the following error in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (NI MAX).

The ? plug-in caused an exception in the CCreateWizardWrapper::InitCreateNew2 function in the MAX process.
See this file for details:
C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\MAX\Logs\MAX\75f93b7c-51da-452d-951b-dfa84778c2b0\68f8c889-2ad6-4437-b4b5-ac2af04d3ae6.dmp

Solution

This usually indicates a corruption of the NI-DAQmx driver installation. This can be corrected with a force reinstall of the NI-DAQmx. A force reinstall replaces all files in the installation.

1. Obtain installation files. These can be found on disk or downloaded from the NI website: Download NI-DAQmx Driver.
2. Run force reinstall as described in Force Reinstall NI Software from the Command Prompt in Windows.
