Issue Details

I just installed Measurement Studio on my computer, and I cannot find any of the Measurement Studio components in my toolbox.

Solution

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Please check that the project is using the .NET Framework. The .NET Core or .NET 5/6 are not supported by Measurement Studio 2019 or previous versions.
  • If you want to automatically have the Measurement Studio controls added to the Visual Studio Toolbox, try creating the project as a Measurement Studio project, as shown below:

  • To add Measurement Studio controls to the Visual Studio Toolbox, right-click the Toolbox, select Choose Items, and select the National Instruments components you want to add. If National Instruments components are not listed, click Browse, browse to the <Measurement Studio Assemblies>\Current folder, and select the National Instruments assembly that includes the UI controls you want to add.
