The GPIB-USB-B is now obsolete and can no longer be purchased through NI. The primary differences between the GPIB-USB-B and the GPIB-USB-HS are listed in the table above and are otherwise interchangeable.

The GPIB-USB-HS is is now obsolete and can no longer be purchased through NI. NI recommends customers migrate to the GPIB-USB-HS+ to take advantage of newer technologies, lower prices, and longer-term availability.

The GPIB-USB-HS+ is considered a drop-in replacement for the GPIB-USB-HS, provided that a supported version of the NI-488.2 driver is installed. Support for the GPIB-USB-HS+ requires NI-488.2 14.0 or later on most operating systems. Refer to Downloading the Correct Driver for The GPIB-USB-HS(+) to determine the latest compatible driver.
