I need to install the most recent version of NI Motion Assistant, but can't find a recent version online.

  1. Use your preferred web browser to navigate to the NI-Motion Download Page and download the desired NI-Motion version.
  2. Select the NI Motion Assistant as a feature to install.
  1. After successfully installing the software, restart your system.

Additional Information

NI Motion Assistant is a stand-alone prototyping tool for quickly developing motion applications.  NI-Motion, on the other hand, is the driver software for NI Motion controller. The installer for NI Motion Assistant 2014 and onward has been integrated into the NI-Motion driver.  Previously, NI-Motion and the NI Motion Assistant were installed separately. The above steps explain how to activate NI Motion Assistant from the NI-Motion installation.
