Issue Details

Why is MAX 16.0 displaying Inconsistent IP Settings for remote systems and failing to display local network adapters on the Network Adapters tab for My System?


 

Solution

When you have NI System Configuration 16.0 API installed with certain third-party software (such as Cisco VPN or Basler Pylon for GigE Cameras), NI MAX will display Inconsistent IP Settings for remote systems and fail to display local network adapter properties. This is due to a known issue with NI System Configuration 16.0 that has been addressed with NI System Configuration 16.0.1. See the Related Links to download NI System Configuration 16.0.1. 

Additional Information

This issue only affects computers running Windows operating systems. Mac and Linux computers with NI System Configuration 16.0 are not affected.
