Anti-Virus Trend Micro Blocks Installation of LabVIEW

Issue Details

I am unable to install LabVIEW from USB drive while using Trend Micro Anti-Virus.  When plugging in the flash drive to a Windows computer with Trend Micro antivirus software installed and active, a Device Control Violation error is given by Trend Micro.

Solution

Trend Micro has strict USB security settings. In order for LabVIEW to be installed via a USB, those settings must be temporarily disabled.

You may need to contact your IT department to disable this setting.
