My myDAQ Is Not Recognised but NI-DAQmx Is Already Installed

Issue Details

When I try to access my myDAQ device it does not show up or is not recognised in NI Device Manager, NI MAX (Measurement and Automation Explorer) or it says the driver for my device is unavailable. How can I get my myDAQ connected?

Solution

Downloading the Latest Driver

To use the NI myDAQ, you will need to have the NI-DAQmx driver installed. National Instruments recommends using the latest version of this driver. The latest NI-DAQmx drivers can be found here.

Repairing your Driver

If you already have the latest version of NI-DAQmx installed, you should Repair the driver as detailed in theĀ Uninstall or Repair National Instruments Software or Drivers in Windows guide.
