Additional Information
Windows 10 was not released when older versions of the compilation tools were developed; and, therefore, they are not compatible. The first compilation tools that are supported on Windows 10 are Vivado 2017.2. These tools are integrated in the LabVIEW FPGA 2018, which is fully compatible with Windows 10.
While official certification for Windows 11 by Xilinx is not available, we've seen promising outcomes from users on Windows 11, which is supported by our rigorous testing. Many of the known issues in Windows 11 environments persist between Vivado versions such as Vivado 2021.1 and Vivado 2025.1, and they are well documented. Emerson Test & Measurement is committed to monitoring and enhancing your experience on Windows 11 while we await additional updates from Xilinx.
