Issue Details

There was a problem updating the firmware for this I am trying to perform an action in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (NI MAX), like a self-test on my device, updating the firmware, or renaming a resource. However, I am getting Error -80040375.

  • There was a problem updating the firmware for this device.

Solution

1. Reset MAX database by referring to this article: What Is the Process for Resetting the MAX Database?
2. If resetting MAX database does not resolve the error, force reinstall MAX. The download can be obtained per this article: Where Can I Download the Latest Version of Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX)?
