Issue Details

• I've just installed and activated LabVIEW. Since I need to compare multiple VIs or merge multiple VIs, I tried to select Tools»Compare and Tools»Merge menu items from LabVIEW toolbar but these items are not available.
• I am trying to compare my LabVIEW VIs but the Compare VIs... option is greyed out. 

Solution

In LabVIEW 2021 and prior versions, the Compare VIs tool was only available for LabVIEW Professional Development System. This feature is available for all LabVIEW editions starting in LabVIEW 2022 Q3.
 

Using LabVIEW 2021 and Prior Editions

The Merge VIs, Compare VIs, and Compare VI Hierarchies tools are only available in LabVIEW Professional Development System in LabVIEW 2021 and prior versions. They are not available in LabVIEW Full or Base editions.

• If you are unsure what software you have access to, you can lookup software included in your serial number
  • If you do not have a license for LabVIEW Professional Development system, you can purchase one .
• If you have a license for LabVIEW Professional Development system, activate it NI License Manager by opening Local Licenses >>  right-click LabVIEW Professional Development System >> select Activate
