Converting Sequence Files to an Older Version of TestStand

I want to open a sequence file saved in TestSTand in an earlier version of the software, how do I convert the TestStand files between versions?

Does it matter if the file format is XML or Binary?

It does not matter if the file is Binary or XML, both file types will follow the same process listed below.

To save a sequence file to a previous version of TestStand:
  1. Launch the sequence editor and open your sequence file.
  2. Select File » Save As. or  File » Save [File Name] As. The Save As dialog box will appear.
  3. The Files of Type ring control allows you to select a version of TestStand prior to the one you are using.
