Issue Details

Why do I not have the option to create an I/O Server in my project?

Solution

The ability to create an I/O Server is added to LabVIEW by installing the LabVIEW Real-Time Module, which adds Modbus I/O Server support, or the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module, which adds Modbus, OPC Client, Alarm Printer, Data Set Marking, EPICS Client, Custom I/O Server support, and more.

If you have already installed and activated the DSC module and you are still unable to use this option, please ensure that you are attempting to do so in the LabVEW 32 bits environment. The DSC module is not supported in LabVIEW 64 bits.
