Initialisation Error with LabVIEW Communications LTE Framework

Issue Details

When I try to run an example using the LabVIEW Communications LTE Application Framework 2.0 or 2.0.1, I get Error 1: Initialisation error.

Solution

This error occurs when attempting to use the LTE Framework with unsupported hardware.

The LTE Application Framework is designed to work with, and hence must be used with, either:

1. ​A USRP RIO device with 40 MHz bandwidth or 120 MHz bandwidth
2. The NI-5791 module with a corresponding PXIe-7975R/7976R module

Trying to use any other RF Adaptor Module for FlexRIO, such as the NI-5792 or NI-5793, or an incompatible USRP will result in Error 1, Initialisation error. 

If the correct hardware is being used, ensure it is powered on, connected correctly and can be seen correctly in NI MAX. 
Also ensure you have pointed the LTE example to the correct device/slot. 

Additional Information

Certain examples in the LTE Application Framework must be pointed to a transceiver module, the NI-5791, in order to successfully run.

It is not possible to use separate modules for the transmitter and receiver, such as the NI-5793 and NI-5792 respectively. 

Pointing the LTE Application Framework example to a transmitter or receiver module would lead to the LTE Application Framework to use this module as both the transmitter and receiver, hence only a transceiver module can be used.
