TestStand Runs Minimized on the Taskbar and Won't Maximize

I have multiple versions of TestStand on my development machine.  When I opened the TestStand Version Selector to switch from TestStand 2017 back to TestStand 2016 I noticed that when I open TestStand 2016, it appears on the Windows taskbar, but will not maximize.  How can I get TestStand to open correctly when I experience this behavior?


This behavior can occur when switching between versions of TestStand using the version selector. What is actually happening is the TestStand window is opening up outside the screen's viewing area and just needs to be dragged back into view. Here are the steps to correct this:
  1. Open TestStand and locate it on the taskbar.
  2. Hold Shift and right-click on the TestStand Application to get the following menu to appear.
  1. Click on the Move option. Your pointer should now have multiple arrows pointing in each direction.
  2. Press and hold the left or right arrow keys on your keyboard to get TestStand to slide back into the viewing area.
