Issue Details

I want to code with myRIO in C. I found myRIO Shipping Personality Reference which includes multiple versions of the reference documentation. What is the C Support for myRIO X.0 and how does that relate to the version of LabVIEW I have installed.

Solution

You need to download and install a version of the LabVIEW myRIO Toolkit to get access to C development tools. If you aren't actually doing anything in LabVIEW, select the latest version.

If you already have LabVIEW myRIO toolkit installed, you can check the corresponding myRIO version in NI Package Manager. Open NI Package Manager and search for myRIO. This should show what version of the toolkit is installed and its corresponding myRIO version.

You can then download and install the C Support for NI myRIO for your corresponding version (for the screenshot above, myRIO 5.0). This will include the necessary header files and examples for different applications in C.
