Running Negative Voltage Through NI-Switch Card

Issue Details

I have a control loop application running a negative voltage single through a system. I need a switch that can switch between 0V and the negative voltage generated by another device. Does NI have an option?

Solution

Yes. NI's SPDT modules allows customers to set two different "normally open" and "normally closed" state that the DUT can switch between. Here is the power-on diagram for the PXI-2522:
 
In this case, set NC0=0V and NO0=negative voltage. It is a pass-through SPDT so the DUT will capture the signal the switch is connected to.
