Issue Details

I have downloaded an ECG signal from PhysioNet database, files with the extension of .atr, .hea and .dat
How do I load it to LabVIEW?

Solution

You could read the file using the NI LabVIEW Biomedical Toolkit, a free add on for LabVIEW. You are able to load it to LabVIEW by following:
  1. Install the NI LabVIEW Biomedical Toolkit
  2. Download the data that you would like to process (with the extension of .dat, .hea and .atr)

  3. Open LabVIEW and Go to Block Diagram

  4. Right-Click at the empty field and Move the cursor to Biomedical
  5. Select Biomedical I/O File
  6. Choose Read Biosignal

  7. Place the Express VI to the empty space on the Block Diagram

  8. At the newly created window, go to the File Path section and open the .hea file then click OK
