Issue Details

I am using the CANOpen Reference Example for the NI-9853 C-Series CAN Module with my own CANOpen sensor. When I run the program, I don't receive any errors and am receiving data, but the 'ID Not Found' boolean lights up. Why is this happening, and how do I resolve it?

Solution

The 'ID Not Found' will light up if the program does not recognize your 'CAN LUT - Index' input. This is the address input to the 'CAN ID Index' Lookup Table. You must find the CAN address of your CANOpen sensor and enter that as the 'CAN LUT - Index'.

Additional Information

Your 'CAN LUT - ID' control is just the CAN channel you are using (0 or 1 on the 9853).
