Issue Details

I need more slots than what my cDAQ chassis provides. Is there a way for me to expand the chassis so that I can add more modules?

Solution

You can incorporate another cDAQ chassis into your system for more slots. If you are using a cDAQ with an embedded controller (cDAQ-913x series), you can connect a USB or Ethernet cDAQ directly to your cDAQ controller.

You can also opt for the 14-slot cDAQ-9179, which is National Instrument's largest slot chassis.

Additional Information

If you need the two chassis to be synchronized, use the NI 9469 to route trigger and clock signals between the chassis.
