How To Implement CANOpen Interface In SbRIO-9607?

Environment

The recommended way of implementation CANOpen communication on sbRIO-9607 is to use NI-9881 module with the corresponding RMC daughter card (NI 9693 Two-Slot C Series RIO Mezzanine Card). Note that DIO channels will be used for a RMC daughter card communication implementation. Refer to CompactRIO Single-Board Controller Module Compatibility for more information.
If using RMC daughter card does not fit your application, you can implement CANOpen protocol based on the NI-CAN driver and build in sbRIO controller CAN port. You can use the existing examples of CANOpen implementations based on CAN.

Additional Information

The NI-CAN driver is a library for using the built-in CAN port in sbRIO controller.
You can find supported by NI-XNET hardware in the NI-XNET 18.0 Readme file .
