Issue Details

I am disabling and enabling the NI-IMAQdx USB3 Vision Device in Windows Device Manager and the first time I try to use a USB3 camera after I re-enable the driver I receive an error window that states "Error 0xFFFF34C8: An undetermined error code has been encountered. Please note that the error code and contact National Instruments Technical support for more information."
After I receive this error once, the camera works as expected and the error will only reappear after disabling and enabling the driver again.

Solution

This is an issue with the way Windows Device Manager loads device drivers into memory.  If you re-enable the driver and wait long enough for the Windows OS to load the driver you will not run into this issue.  This could take up to 3 minutes.  If you are unable to wait for the driver to load, a workaround would be to clear the error the first time you open a reference to the camera and then try reconnecting a second time.
