Enable IEEE 1588 on cRIO

Issue Details

  • There used to be an option in NI MAX to enable IEEE 1588 on my cRIO.  There option is no longer there.  How do I enable it?
  • How do I enable IEEE 1588 on my cRIO?

Solution

After installation of newer versions of NI-TimeSync on the cRIO, IEEE 1588 is enabled by default on the cRIO's Ethernet ports.
