Issue Details

NI 5693 is generally coupled with NI 5667 VSA. But, I want to take advantage of Preselector's FM band stop filters using NI 5840 (VST 2nd gen) or NI 5668R.  For this, I am trying to use NI 5667 with NI-RFSA drivers. I am opening a separate session and configuring the filters but no effect can be seen.

How can I configure NI 5693 to work as standalone device without NI 5667?

Solution

NI-5693 can be used as a standalone without being part of the NI 5667.  Please follow the below sequence to configure and use NI-5693 preselector as "Standalone":

Additional Information

For activation of any bandpass filter  (and corresponding bandstop filter), please select the concerned center frequency. NI 5668R and NI 5840  (VST 2nd gen) are wide band devices.  Using a bandpass preselector will limit the wide bandwidth of these analyzer.
